Homecoming 2009

Biology alumni were out in force at our October 2009 Homecoming events. Professor Oliver Kerscher gave a presentation in Millington Hall as part of the "science track" at the College's Academic Symposium. Department Chair Liz Allison led symposium participants on a walking tour of selected laboratories and research collections at our new location in the Integrated Science Center.

We also hosted alumni at a Saturday departmental reception before the W&M football game. It was a great chance for alumni and faculty to catch up and reconnect. Professor Allison contributed one of her signature home-baked items: carrot cake decorated with hand-crafted fall leaves made of marzipan. Delicious! View the Homecoming 09 Reception Photo Gallery.
