Admitted Student Programs

Congratulations on your admission to William & Mary! Our Good Things email and admission packet confirmed just how cool you are. Now, come see how cool we are.

Day for Admitted Students

Admitted students and their families are invited to attend our annual campus-wide celebration of our newly admitted class! During our Day for Admitted Students (DFAS), attend topical information sessions, take part in our admitted student tour, meet with faculty in departmental chats and presentations, participate in a campus-wide activity fair, and get to know the Tribe. If you haven't yet decided that your college colors should be green and gold, this event will help you find answers to your lingering questions. The W&M community looks forward to getting to know you and hopes you'll join us for this fun and informative day.

Green & Gold Days

Prefer to get to know William & Mary in a more intimate setting? Like DFAS, Green & Gold Days are designed to introduce admitted students and their families to all aspects of the William & Mary experience. During these programs, you will have the opportunity to converse with admission deans, financial aid counselors, professors, and current W&M students.

We look forward to welcoming you to campus for a Green & Gold Day this April!

You Belong

Admitted multicultural students and their families are invited to join us for You Belong, an immersive day-in-the-life event. Participants will have the opportunity to attend mock lectures, eat lunch in a dining hall, see performances by multicultural groups and interact with current W&M students and campus community members. This is a first-hand view of William & Mary's multicultural community.

Monroe Scholar Campus Visit Program

Admitted James Monroe Scholars and their families are invited to extend their visit to Williamsburg at the conclusion of DFAS. This event offers an introduction to the unique opportunities provided to those who are a part of this esteemed honors program. Hear from current Monroe Scholars regarding their research pursuits, take part in mock seminar discussions designed to replicate W&M's in-class experience and meet some of your future classmates! Evening entertainment will take place (for parents and for students) and we encourage families to plan an overnight stay in the immediate area. We look forward to meeting you in person!
