"I've been accepted! Now I have more questions..."
While applying as a transfer student can be a complicated process, actually transferring to a new school can be even more difficult to navigate. We've put together a modest list of helpful resources to make the transition a little bit easier.
The Office of the University Registrar evaluates transfer credit. If you have questions about the credit you will enroll with at William & Mary please direct your questions to Grace Hindman in the Registrar's Office at 757-221-2823.
The Academic Advising Office will reach out to all enrolling transfer students regarding course registration, and you'll be able to meet with your own academic advisor during new student orientation. In the meantime, you may check the availability of courses online.
New Student Orientation:
New student orientation is an important part of the transition into William & Mary for students entering in both the fall and spring semesters. Orientation is overseen by the Office of First Year Experience.
The Office of Residence Life is able to provide housing to some but not all transfer students. The spots available are awarded on a first-come-first-served basis.
Off-campus housing opportunities are also available in the Williamsburg area.
