Faculty Assembly

The Faculty Assembly is an elected, representative body of the College that regularly advises the President and the Provost on matters affecting the welfare of the university. The Faculty Assembly is composed of 20 faculty members representing seven constituencies: Arts & Sciences -- (1) Humanities, (2) Social Sciences, (3) Natural Sciences and the professional schools -- (4) Business, (5) Education, (6) Law and (7) Marine Science.

Normally, the Faculty Assembly meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month during the academic year, at 3:30pm in the Board Room of Blow Memorial Hall. NOTE: the next meeting is February 28, 2012.  Faculty Assembly meetings are open to all faculty at the College. The agenda for each meeting is sent electronically to all faculty in advance of the meeting and is also posted on this website.

This is your Faculty Assembly. It is here for you. Please feel free to contact one of the FA Officers if you would like to raise a concern or express an opinion on an agenda item.
