Faculty and staff from William & Mary joined their counterparts from Eastern Virginia Medical School Tuesday to discuss what might be the most fruitful areas for collaborative research.
A new relationship between William & Mary and Eastern Virginia Medical School should begin slowly, through a pilot program that will allow the two institutions to combine their expertise to improve healthcare delivery in Hampton Roads -- and learn more about each other -- according to a recent report by W&M faculty and administrators.
No decision has been made yet as to whether William & Mary might merge with Eastern Virginia Medical School, a committee of faculty and administrators said during a campus forum yesterday.
Provost Michael R. Halleran will lead due diligence committee.
