About Us

The Wendy and Emery Reves Center for International Studies is the home of the office of the Vice Provost for International Affairs as well as the Global Education Office and the Office of International Students, Scholars, and Programs.

Each year the Reves Center :

  • helps 600 William & Mary students study abroad
  • provides over $150,000 in scholarships for study abroad and international internships
  • offers 13 summer programs abroad and mantains academic exchange partnerships with 16 universities in 12 countries
  • supports William & Mary's international community of over 400 undergraduate and graduate students, and over 100 faculty and scholars
  • welcomes 40 Japanese students to the College as part of our summer Cross-Cultural Collaboration with Keio University in Japan
  • awards $70,000 in grants for faculty and graduate student conference travel, internationally-focused student-faculty research projects, and faculty-mentored international service learning projects
  • contributes $30,000 to support and sponsor internationally-focused public programs, including speakers, events, films, and conferences
  • contributes $25,000 towards 4 Graduate Assistantships
  • hosts more than 200 events in the Reves Room, most internationally-focused in nature.
