Located blocks away from the heart of Colonial Williamsburg are homes away from home for over 4,000 members of William & Mary’s community. In addition to the proximity to Swem Library, Sadler Center, the Sunken Garden, academic buildings and more, living on campus also provides students with a community of fun and gifted people who support one another in academic and personal endeavors.

Our 170+ student staff members and our professional full-time staff are on a mission to make living on campus a secure and comfortable experience for all students. Residence Life's Diversity Action Statement

As a department central to the social, emotional, and intellectual growth and development of students at William & Mary, Residence Life in the Division of Student Affairs is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse residential community enriched by the presence and participation of men and women of different races, nationalities, tonicities, socioeconomic circumstances, abilities, ages, sexual orientations, political viewpoints, veteran status, religious/spiritual, and philosophical beliefs, or any other category protected by the Commonwealth or by federal law.
