Road Closure Update: West Utility Plant Phase III

The following traffic update was issued by Parking & Transportation - Ed.

As previously advertised on Tuesday Dec. 2nd the Phase II Road closure associated with the West Utility Plant Project began. The work requires a one lane closure from 12/2 to 12/18. Followed by a full two lane closure over the winter break from (12/19 - 1/16).  Landrum Dr. will remain under it's current one-way flow of travel. No cut through traffic will be possible across the bridge from 12/19 to 1/16. To access the northside of campus travelers will need to follow Jamestown Rd. to Richmond Rd. Traffic control devices will be in place to moderate traffic during the single lane closure, please follow all traffic signs and instructions from flagmen.

To view a map of the area and placement of the Traffic control devices click here. Pedestrians and bicyclists must stop at the intersection, look before crossing, and make sure you only cross when favored by the light. W&M PD officers will assist flagmen when needed to moderate traffic and assit those who need to cross the street.
