For many of our students, the cultural education gained by studying and living in a Spanish-speaking country is perhaps the single most valued and appreciated legacy of their undergraduate experience. Hispanic Studies faculty have developed three study abroad experiences uniquely tailored to our curriculum:
All William and Mary, Hispanic Studies study abroad programs carry William and Mary credit. Students can earn credits towards their minor and/or major in Hispanic Studies and complete their practicum requirement while abroad.
* N.B.: In accordance with College policies, at least 15 credits of the Hispanic Studies major must be taken at the College (i.e. not abroad). Please keep this requirement in mind as you make plans to study abroad.
