Sabine Waas

Sabine Waas received her PhD in Germanic Studies at the University of Texas, Austin, and her MA in German at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. Her research focuses on migration, sports, media, and film studies. She is currently working on an article about soccer celebrities as influencers. In addition to all levels of German language classes, she has taught courses on German and French soccer culture and war films around the world.
