Alumni and Friends
The Department of Modern Languages & Literatures graduates upwards of 70 majors per year, with concentrations in Chinese, French, German, and Hispanic Studies. In addition, many of our students also major in interdisciplinary programs such as East Asian Studies, European Studies, Russian & Post Soviet Studies, and International Relations, and also combine a Modern Languages major with one in Business or Law.
Our students go on to graduate school and careers both domestically and overseas in nonprofit and government work, law, international relations, and academia. With their broad exposure to the global society in which we live, our alumni have a wide choice of careers.
We invite alumni and friends to check out the Alumni Updates on the different language pages, as well as the news stories on our homepage for current information about students, alumni, faculty, and departmental news. We hope you’ll also send us your news to include on our alumni page.
