For all Virginia residents:
  • 100% of demonstrated financial need is typically met
  • Total cost of attendance is frequently one-half that of top private universities

  • Lowest average net price among public four-year universities in Virginia for in-state students with family income of less than $110,000

The Pell Grant Guarantee

All in-state, Pell-eligible students will automatically receive scholarship assistance to cover at least tuition and fees, as well as any additional demonstrated financial need beyond that (as determined through the FAFSA and CSS Profile).
