Sport Clubs

Sport Clubs provide an opportunity to live a balanced life academically, athletically and socially. The Sport Club program complements the College’s intercollegiate athletic programs, intramural sport activities and Kinesiology & Health Sciences course offerings. Clubs receive administrative support and advice from the Department of Recreational Sports, but they are independent student organizations that are student-initiated and student-led. Club officers lead and organize practices, meetings, competitions and events. The clubs may practice on or off campus and many clubs compete against other colleges and universities on the local, regional and national levels.

Inquiries regarding individual clubs should be directed to the club contacts listed in the sport club directory. Questions about the Sport Club program should be directed to Bob Gough, Associate Director of Recreational Sports - Sport Clubs and Aquatics at  757-221-3499; or email [[rsclub, rsclub@wm.edu]].

Attention current club officers! Once you complete the budget request, please call (757-221-3310) or stop by the Student Recreation Center front desk and schedule a budget meeting. You’ll need to complete the end of year report at least 24 hours before your budget meeting. Forms can be found on the Forms page of this website. A budget request and budget meeting are required in order to be eligible for a operating budget in 2012-2013!
