Magdalena is a junior studying Sociology, originally from Rocky Mount, VA. She is mainly involved in PLUMAS and Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Incorporada, although she enjoys going to other organizations' events and showcases here on campus. Magdalena is very passionate about issues surrounding the Latinx community, immigration, colonialism, and racial disparities. Her goal is to become more educated around these issues and help local communities when she can. She hopes to do so through Branch Out, so she is very excited to work alongside her team to uplift often underrepresented voices.
