Student Opportunity: Connect with professionals and learn about cybersecurity

Applications for TEEM are open. TEEM is a free eight-week program that offers Virginia college students an opportunity to connect with professionals and learn about cybersecurity outside the classroom. There are only 25 positions available.

Full Description

TEEM is a collaboration between the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative and CivilianCyber, a workforce technology company, and has been designed for students who are interested in a career in cybersecurity. 

In this FREE eight-week program, second or third-year Virginia college students are paired with a cybersecurity industry professional to build industry knowledge, professional development, and critical thinking skills to help them stand out in the competitive hiring marketplace and better prepare them to enter the workforce. Students will be involved in immersive, real world work experience while being supported and mentored by their paired professional. At the end of the eight weeks, each student will receive a certificate of completion.
