W&M Alumnae Win 2023 Geospatial Young Professional Scholarships
Jordan Landrum '22 and Christina Sabochick '22, former W&M Center for Geospatial Analysis (CGA) Fellows, have been awarded the Dr. Marilyn O’Hara Ruiz Young Professional Scholarships among a national pool of candidates. The awardees are selected based on demonstrated work and focus in the GIS industry as well as impact of work and contributions in the GIS field. This scholarship provides Jordan and Christina the opportunity to attend and participate in the URISA (Urban & Regional Information Systems Association) GIS-Pro Conference to be held in Columbus, OH in October of 2023. At this conference Christina and Jordan will continue to build their professional network and professional development in the geospatial field.
