Background

While conducting nutrition intervention clinical trials, Dr. Caligiuri quickly realized that behavior modification was one of the most difficult hurdles in patient care. As a result, she ventured from the discipline of Nutrition into Behavioral Neuroscience to understand how our food choices impact our brain and mental health and conversely, how our neurobiology impacts our food choices.
