Bio

Emily received her B.A. in English from the Robert D. Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon in 2016. While there, she was inducted as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Emily's research interests center around the formation of early American identity through celebrations and demonstrations with a special focus on transformation through westward expansion. She also works as an Editorial Apprentice for the Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture.
