Current Research: History of Women, Gender, and Sexuality; Twentieth Century U.S. History

Bio
Madalyn graduated with honors from the University of Alabama in 2016 where she focused on American history and cultural anthropology. While at Alabama, she wrote a senior thesis on the terms of discussion used to debate the decriminalization of homosexuality in the printed media of the 1960s. Her current research interests focus on the politics of gender and sex in the U.S. South during the early twentieth century. She is a first year MA student and apprentices at the College of William and Mary's historic campus.
