2010 Graduate Research Symposium

Dean Strikwerda and Sara Kampfe

Sara Kampfe was awarded the Incogen, Inc. Award for Excellence in Scholarship in the Natural and Computational Sciences for her poster entitled Processing and Conversion of Algae to Bioethanol presented at the 9th Annual William and Mary Graduate Research Symposium.  Sara has pursued her Chemistry MS degree part-time while locally employed by Applied Process Technology International, an engineering design firm specializing in fuel, beverage and high-purity ethanol.  She plans to continue working with APTI following receipt of her MS degree in Spring 2010, and to eventually seek a PhD in Chemistry.
