Transportation Services
Don't have a car? Don't feel like driving? No problem!
Getting around the William & Mary campus and the greater Williamsburg area may seem like a challenge. Don't worry! We understand that those who live on campus may not have a car, and others may not want to fight the traffic. Whatever your transportation needs, we're here for you.
Whether around campus, or out to local shopping and movies, we'll get you where you need to go. Williamsburg has an excellent public transportation system, with convenient bus lines and even a trolley. For more independent travel, William & Mary now proudly boasts a Zipcar program.
Heading out of town? No problem. There are plenty of solutions for that, too.
Airport Shuttle Service
At various times throughout the year Parking & Transportation Services offers a Student Assembly (SA) Sponsored shuttle service to all three major airports, typically Fall break, Thanksgiving Holiday weekend, Winter and Spring Breaks. Shuttles depart from the Sadler Center Terrace and curbside at the Arrival Terminal for each airport. Shuttle service is provided using 12 passenger vans, so please pack accordingly, space is limited. The SA is responsible for advertising and registration for each of the time periods. Please send service inquiries via e-mail to Bil Horacio, Director of Parking & Transportation at wxhora@wm.edu.
