2 New Faculty Members
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Iyabo Obasanjo will be joining the faculty of the Department of Kinesiology & Health Sciences for the fall of 2017. She will be working within the Public Health concentration of the department. Dr. Obasanjo earned her Ph.D. in
Epidemiology from Cornell University in 1995. Currently, she holds the position of the Thomas Bahnson and Anne Bassett Stanley Visiting Professor in Ethics and Integrity at the Virginia Military Institute where her work is focused on Global Health. We look forward to having Iyabo join us next fall to add her many areas of expertise to our department.

It is with great pleasure that we share the news that (soon to be) Dr. Carrie Dolan will be joining our faculty for the fall of 2017 to teach and conduct research in the Public Health concentration within the Department of Kinesiology & Health Sciences. Carrie will complete her doctoral work in Healthcare Policy and Research at Virginia Commonwealth University this May after previously earning her Master’s in Public Health degree at Tulane University. Carrie is a quantitative healthcare specialist addressing issues related to the optimal use of health aid in the neediest countries in the world. We are very excited that Carrie will soon be part of our department.
