Over the past few years environmentally-focused faculty and students, representing every unit and School in the College, have collaborated to put together one of the most innovative and integrative environmental programs in the nation.

Our newly designed undergraduate program offers integrative courses at every level from our freshman core course to new multidisciplinary sophomore courses and discussion seminars focused on global environmental topics. Throughout the curriculum, we stress the importance of integrating knowledge and skills from the natural, physical, and social sciences to solve current environmental problems within ethical, economic, and politically-realistic frameworks.
