We stress the importance of hands-on research and internship experiences. Many of our students are co-authors on professional publications and presentations. As a consequence, many of our graduates go on to careers with government agencies, environmental consultancies, and action groups and secure places in some of the best graduate schools in the US.
We also have numerous partnerships with community and governmental groups, working to monitor local and global environmental issues and solve real-life problems relevant to the Chesapeake Bay and beyond.
Whether you are a student interested in enrolling in the program, a faculty member or professional thinking about joining our dynamic group, or an environmentally-minded citizen interested in learning more or contributing to our environmental legacy, we would love to hear from you.
