Latin American Studies congratulates our own Professor Regina Root whose book Couture and Consensus: Fashion and Politics in Postcolonial Argentina (2010, University of Minnesota Press) was recently awarded the Whitaker's Prize by the Middle Atlantic Council of Latin American Studies.
