Spring Group Tour Update
Thank you for your interest in a Spring 2017 group tour at W&M. As of March 31, all of our spring tours for groups between 10-50 students have been booked. Registration for group tours over the summer between June and July will be available May 1. Previous to that registration date of May 1, we will not be able to accept or confirm group tours.
Group Tour Information
Join us on campus with your student group or organization. We offer either self-guided or student led tours with details about availability below. An online request form must be submitted to register for any tour, and we can accomodate one per day. Our office will then confirm and finalize your plans via email within 7 days of registration. Group Tours are intended for groups between 10-50 people. For individual or family visits, register online for our Information Session & Tour.
For the spring semester of 2017, student led tours began on January 23 and will end April 20. We do not offer student led group tours on weekends and national holidays in which our office is closed.
Self-Guided Group Tours
While availability for a student led tour is limited, we offer daily self-guided tours at times when guided tours are not available. Self-guided tour groups will receive a detailed pamphlet including information written by our tour guides and a map of our campus. After checking in at the Office of Undergraduate Admission (116 Jamestown Rd), explore campus at your leisure.
- Available to student groups younger than 9th grade.
- Available to groups of over 50 students.
- Available to groups on weekends.
- We also offer a photo scavenger hunt tour geared to groups younger than 9th grade.
Student Led Group Tours
We offer 1 student led group tour each day, available at either 10:30am or 3:00pm. All student led group visits will begin at the Office of Undergraduate Admission (116 Jamestown Rd) with the tour which lasts approximately 75 minutes and followed by an optional 30 minute Q&A period with a dean at approximately 4:15pm.
- Limited to college-bound high school students in grades 9-11.
- Limited to groups between 10-50.

Dining on Campus
