WMSURE
Where Scholars are Made
The William & Mary Scholars Undergraduate Research Experience (WMSURE) program supports W&M Scholars. Our faculty mentors promote strategies for academic success and undergraduate research.
WMSURE
- Developed based on the self-identified needs of WMSURE scholars to provide guidance throughout the college experience.
- Provides support for all undergraduates who want to conduct research.
- Facilitates peer and faculty mentorship for student participants.
- Establishes a large network of faculty and staff to support WMSURE students across the university.
- Provides workshops that help scholars achieve their highest potential.
- Creates a scholarly community that focuses on holistic academic well-being.
Specific students are William & Mary Scholars, but all students are welcomed to WMSURE!
The WMSURE Undergraduate Research Conference
As part of it's mission to cultivate a space of "Bold & Brilliant" Scholars, WMSURE hosts an undergraduate research conference every year in April. Coinciding with "You Belong", an campus Admissions event, the WMSURE Undergraduate Research Conference presents an opportunity for the campus community and prospective students to witness the excellent research of WMSURE Scholars.
All undergraduate students from across the Commonwealth are invited to attend and to submit a proposal.
