Resources and Facilities

The Integrated Science Center (ISC) is home to the Chemistry Department. The ISC provides modern facilities for the study of chemistry. Students also have the opportunity to perform research at NASA-Langley, the Virginia Institute of Marine Science and through the graduate level Applied Science program.

There are fifteen 900 + sq. ft. faculty research labs located in the ISC, as well as a faculty computational lab. All research labs are equipped with various levels of fume hoods, standard laboratory equipment, chemical and solvent storage, computing equipment and private desk space for students.
