Admit It! One of the things on your summer to-do list is to continue your college search. While likely not as appealing to check off as a summer vacation, it's just as necessary. Take some time this summer to narrow down your list of potential colleges and maybe even get a head start on some of those applications.
One of the best ways to narrow down your list is to visit campus. William & Mary offers information sessions and tours twice on weekdays and on select Saturdays throughout the summer. On-campus interviews also provide a unique opportunity for rising high school seniors to add a three-dimensional component to their application. William & Mary students conduct interviews with prospective applicants on weekdays beginning June 20 and ending August 12. Registration for interviews is required. Registration for all summer events goes live May 1.
William & Mary uses both the Common Application and the Coalition Application, each of which goes live August 1. Similar to accepting both the SAT and ACT without preference, our office will accept applications submitted through either platform (again, without preference). Our website can offer you much insight into the W&M application process.
So along with reading a book on the beach or by the pool, attending the midnight showing of the summer blockbusters and road tripping with friends, don't forget to check off visiting W&M on your summer to do list.
