About Me

William & Mary is like home for me, as I was raised in Virginia Beach and attended Kempsville High School. Prior to becoming part of the Tribe, I worked as Assistant Dean of Students at UNC Chapel Hill and as an Area Director in housing at UNC and Tulane University. I am a proud Hokie, where I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology and English. I also hold a Masters in Higher Education from Florida State University and a Law degree from North Carolina Central University.

When not working, I am chasing after my two girls and trying to fit in quality family time. As for hobbies, who has hobbies when they have two small children? That said, I do enjoy my college football and basketball and my lifelong love affair with the Boston Red Sox.

I enjoy my work with students, even during the sometimes-difficult conduct process. Having grown a great deal in college, I believe the student experience can be a time of tremendous development for students, and I am pleased that I have the ability to work with dynamic and energetic students every day.

Dave participates in contuniung training programs conducted by the Virgina Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) and the Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA).  Recent examples include:
