Students interested in graduate study abroad for 2011-2012 are encouraged to apply for an Ambassadorial Scholarship sponsored by the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. This scholarship program is designed to further world understanding and peace by sending ambassadors of goodwill to study in another country for an academic year. Applications and details can be found on the Rotary International website.
Each scholarship provides up to $23,000 (amounts depending on expenses associated with one's studies). Two recommendations from academic instructors are required, along with a language ability form if the native language of the proposed country of study is different from the applicant's.
No campus nomination is required but applications must be endorsed by a Rotary club. You may apply through a Rotary club in your place of legal residence or in your place of full-time study. The original and two copies of all application materials (including transcripts and letters of recommendation) are due in the Charles Center, Blow Hall Suite 254, by 12 noon on that date.
