George Greenia Research Fellowship in Pilgrimage Studies

The Institute for Pilgrimage Studies is pleased to offer the George Greenia Research Fellowships in Pilgrimage Studies to members of the Consortium for Pilgrimage Studies.  The fellowship provides funding for faculty and/or graduate students to support original scholarship on pilgrimage or travel for transformation. This fellowship is funded by private donations to a special fund the Institute has set up for this purpose. Named in honor of our patron and founder, Emeritus Prof. George Greenia of the Department of Modern Languages at William & Mary, whose unceasing energy, devotion to his students, outstanding scholarship and above all good humor, have made possible all the activities in which the Institute is engaged today.
