Aaron Levin

Intern (September 2013 - December 2013)

Aaron (梁安伦) recently received a B.A. in Public Policy with a minor in History from William & Mary. He began studying Chinese when he came to William & Mary and first went to China in 2011 to study at Peking University in Beijing. Upon returning, he met the newly founded William & Mary Confucius Institute and enjoyed the cultural activities and friendly faces the Institute brought to campus. So far, he has travelled to China three times and is currently making his fourth trip as an English Instructor at Beijing Normal University.
Apart from learning Mandarin, Aaron also hopes to learn a traditional Chinese instrument called erhu (二胡) and a form of Chinese chess called weiqi (围棋). Additionally, he is learning to ignore his inept cooking skills while practicing cooking Chinese food for his very polite friends. He also enjoys learning Chinese history and culture with hopes to apply these toward a graduate or professional degree in the future.
