Junshu Fang (方俊舒) joined the Confucius Institute at the College of William and Mary as a Volunteer Teacher in July 2015. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language at Beijing Normal University. Her academic interests are widespread, including Language Acquisition, Teaching Chinese As a Second Language, and Cultural Comparison Studies.

During her four-year studying as an undergraduate, Junshu not only tutored foreign students who came to Minzu University in China, but also taught Chinese culture classes to foreign students. Now she is doing an internship in William and Mary Confucius Institute to conduct both language and cultural courses. Before this internship, Junshu was trained extensively to develop teaching skills. Moreover, she’s also been trained in Paper Cutting ,Calligraphy, Guqin, and Chinese Knotting. She has an interest in Chinese folk song and painting.
