Dr. John Linantud began teaching at the University of Houston Downtown in 2002. His degrees include a B.A. from Catholic University (1989), M.A. from George Washington University (1992) and a Ph.D. from Arizona State (2000). Linantud currently teaches Federal Government; Texas Government; Introduction to World Politics; East and Southeast Asia; Developing World; Europe, Russia, and the United States; The Americas; Political Science Capstone; and Special Projects. Linantud has published articles in academic journals Contemporary Southeast Asia, Geopolitics, International Journal of Heritage Studies, International Social Science Review, and Journal of Political Science Education.
