About Earth Week

Earth Week is held annually the week of April 22, Earth Day!

W&M Sustainability acts as a hub and convener for Earth Week activities, in addition to planning and/or sponsoring cornerstone events such as a community festival.

To learn more about what a typical Earth Week at William & Mary looks like, check out the promotional video above! Get a sneak-peek into what the butterfly tent experience is like, meeting sustainability-related clubs and organizations, and all the crafts that typically take place during the week!

Earth Week activities can be displays, events, panels, information sessions, movie screenings, social media campaigns, book clubs, and more!

Please consider the blended environmental, social, and economic lens of sustainability when planning your event. More interconnected, interdisciplinary, and collaborative events are often more attractive, impactful, and inclusive.

We feature events registered on the W&M Events Earth Week Calendar. *TribeLink events do not connect to the W&M Events Calendar.
