General Scheduling Information

Non-College Events

The Scheduling Office is here to help you reserve space for meetings, parties, weddings, wedding receptions, and other special events you would like to hold on campus.

 Please include the following information on your email request: [[scheduling]], name of bride and groom, address, telephone number, event date, event time, description of event, number of attendees, location, and alternate dates and locations.

Your reservation is not confirmed until you receive a phone call and/or written confirmation/agreement from the Scheduling Office.  The College does not reserve space on campus when the academic calendar is in progress and we generally only reserve space 6 months ahead.

If you are interested in scheduling a conference or Lake Matoaka Amphitheatre please contact the Office of Conference & Event Services at (757)-221-4084.


The Scheduling Office reserves the following locations: Sadler Center, Campus Center, all academic buildings (for non-academic class related meetings, films, lectures, etc.), Phi Beta Kappa Hall, Dodge Room, Sunken Garden, Crim Dell Amphitheatre, Crim Dell Bridge, Crim Dell Meadow, and Fraternity and Jamestown Fields.

There are other locations on campus that are scheduled within their own department. Call the Scheduling Office to obtain contacts for those locations.
