Transfer Welcome is an *optional* virtual pre-orientation event designed to address specific issues and concerns related to the transfer experience. The event is a meaningful resource to a successful transition into the William & Mary community.
The program's schedule will include brief academic advising and opportunities to speak with resources across the university community. In addition to receiving information about these areas, students also have the opportunity to connect with other incoming and current transfer students while becoming more familiar with our community.
Given that the Transfer Welcome is virtual, event registration is not required.
Session Access & Recordings
Any pertinent Zoom links will be distributed to all incoming transfer students via their email provided to Undergraduate Admission during the application process - with reminders sent to your W&M email address. For those unable to attend, all presentation content will be recorded and posted on this page for easy review.
Additional Transfer Student & Family Resources
Given that the transition to W&M is a multi-faceted endeavor, we also recommend this presentation playlist of informational sessions given during Undergraduate Admission's 2021 Digital Days for Admitted Students for incoming new students and their families.
New Transfer Student Advising & Registration Sessions
The Office of Undergraduate Academic Affairs will be hosting a Zoom Drop-In Advising Session on Monday, June 6 from 6 - 7 PM (Eastern).
