Fall 2020 Transfer Welcome Day

Re-Scheduled due to the Juneteenth Observed Holiday

Yesterday the university announced the observation of the Juneteenth holiday on Friday, June 19. Transfer Welcome Days will now be held over the course of two days -- next Monday, June 21 and Tuesday, June 22. We apologize for the late notice and look forward to meeting you soon!

Transfer Welcome Days are an *optional* VIRTUAL pre-orientation event designed to address specific issues and concerns related to the transfer experience. The event is a meaningful resource to a successful transition into the William & Mary community.

TWD 2020
Updated Schedule

The program's schedule will include academic advising sessions and opportunities to speak with resources across the university community. In addition to receiving information about these areas, students also have the opportunity to connect with other incoming and current transfer students while becoming more familiar with our community.

Given that Transfer Welcome Day will be virtual, event registration is not required.

Session Access & Recordings

Zoom links for each session will be distributed to all incoming transfer students via their W&M email address. For those unable to attend, all presentation content will be recorded and posted within the College Studies Blackboard mini-course before summer course registration begins on Thursday, June 25.

Additional Transfer Student & Family Resources

Given that the transition to W&M is a multi-faceted endeavor, we also recommend the below presentations given during Undergraduate Admission's Digital Days for Admitted Students for incoming transfer students and their families.
