Laura chose her career in International Education at an early age of 19 after studying abroad in Australia. Passions and connections led her back to an internship at the University of Sunshine Coast’s International Center in Australia. After graduating from the University of Central Missouri receiving a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and International Studies, Laura became an International Admissions Counselor at Full Sail University. For three years she played a key role in developing support services for international students and orienting faculty to new cultural contexts during international recruitment fairs. Eager to work with faculty and develop curriculum, Laura joined the Semester at Sea Fall 2016 Voyage as Assistant Director of Field Classes. Laura worked with over +25 faculty members to develop and implement +70 faculty-led field classes in 13 countries. Laura recently graduated with her Master in International Education and is excited serve the students and faculty at William and Mary.
