Online Room Selection
Room selection is done online on the Housing Portal during your assigned time slot so you will be able to select your room from the comfort of your own home, room, or even from another country!
Who goes first?As in past years, rising seniors approved for housing will be the first to choose their rooms, followed by approved rising juniors, then rising sophomores. A student’s designated room selection day/time slot is determined by high school graduation year, not social class nor credit hour academic standing. Fifth year seniors are not assigned separate time slots but are assigned with all other rising seniors. |
Prepare, prepare, prepare!Review the online selection process carefully to learn what you can do ahead of time to ensure your best possible outcome during your time slot. We also have several rooming options that you may opt into before time slots are assigned. |
Don't have a roommate?If you would prefer to be assigned with a random roommate instead of being a part of a roommate group, at the end of your time slot day beginning at 3:30 p.m. through 5:00 p.m. the same day you will be able to self-assign to a room without a roommate group. Know that you will be assigned a roommate at random and that roommate questionnaire would not be considered at time of assignment. Students who graduated from high school in 2022 & 2023 are required to live on campus for the 2023-24 academic year. Failure to sign the contract will not release a student from this requirement and Residence Life will assign a housing assignments after March 1, 2023. |
