What are the rooms like?

Will there be any unloading parking nearby for move-in?

Temporary unloading parking will be available in the parking lot during move-in.

Are there any appliance restrictions?

The same restrictions that are outlined in the Housing Contract and Guide and to other residence halls apply to Tribe Square. Kitchen appliances may be used in the kitchen areas just like other campus apartments.

What kind of lighting is there?

There are overhead lights in the bathrooms and kitchen. Lamps are provided in the living area. There are no overhead lights in the bedrooms. Residents must provide their own bedroom lighting.

What kind of floors are there?

All the floors are vinyl tile.

Does the refrigerator have an icemaker?

No.

What is the wattage of the microwave?

1,200 watts.

What kind of window coverings are on the windows?

All window coverings are mini-blinds.

Are phones provided?

There are local-calling, campus phone extensions in each apartment located near the apartment entrance on a wall by the kitchen.

 

Where can I park?

Onsite parking is reserved for the customers on the first floor retail spaces. Onsite parking by residents is strictly prohibited. Residents with vehicles must purchase a parking pass through Parking Services and must park their car on campus.

What should I do if I lock myself out of my apartment? Will there be a duty office?

The RA for Tribe Square will work with the Richmond Road staff. Keys for Tribe Square will be available in the Monroe Hall Duty Office. For times when the duty office is not open, call the lockout line (757-221-5625).

I won't be here for the summer, can I sublet my apartment?

Subletting is not permitted.
