Welcome to Yates Hall! It is located close to New Campus academic buildings, the Dining Commons (aka "the Caf"), William & Mary Hall, and the Recreational Center. The largest of the freshman halls, it is home to 266 residents housed on ten halls, divided between three floors and a basement. Each hall shares a bathroom. There are two lounges on each floor used for studying, programs, and socializing. In the basement level, there is a television/recreation room. Laundry facilities and a communal kitchen are also located in the basement. Residents are frequently found outside on the playing field. Yates Hall opened in 1962 and is named after Rev.
