All Monroe Scholar Housing will be in DuPont Hall for the 2023-24 academic year.
Welcome to Willis Hall! Willis is conveniently located across the street from the historic Wren Building in the heart of Old Campus and near the Campus Center. Forty-eight residents live on three floors with a hall bath on each floor in this small, close community.
The communal kitchen, laundry room, and two lounges are located on the first floor. Willis has four double rooms that share a bathroom on the second floor, often referred to as the Tower, separated from the rest of the hall. These rooms provide an opportunity to build an intimate community and still be able to interact with the rest of the building.
Willis was named in honor of Hulon L. Willis, Sr, M.Ed. ’56, who was the first African-American student to enroll at William & Mary.
