Monroe Hall

Welcome to Monroe Hall! Monroe's classical architecture compliments picturesque Old Campus. Situated near the Sunken Garden, Monroe is convenient to the Sadler Center and Old Campus academic buildings. Residents of Monroe also have easy access to Zable Football Stadium, Colonial Williamsburg, and Wawa. One hundred thirty-six freshmen live on three floors which are split into six wings with one men's and women's wing per floor. Lounges and communal kitchens are located on each floor along with a large attic where many social functions are held each year. The laundry room is on the first floor. Monroe Hall opened in 1924 and was named after College alumnus and fifth President of the United States, James Monroe.
