Programs
The Center for Student Diversity is proud to offer programs that create a supportive and respectful campus community and quality programming which not only meets the needs of a diverse student body, but also provides opportunities for meaningful engagement and cross-cultural interactions for the William and Mary community. Our commitment extends to offering resources that facilitate cultural awareness and intercultural competence for all students. We achieve this through the exploration and celebration of one’s own identities and deep understanding of the diverse identities.
Preparing for Life as a University Student (PLUS)
The Preparing for Life as a University Student (PLUS) program promotes retention and graduation for underrepresented students. Through summer pre-orientation and targeted first-year experience activities, as well as opportunities for externship and career connection, we engage with students from their first year to graduation.
Cultural Initiatives
With the executive leadership of students, Barbershop, Brown Table Talk, and International Mini Mart enhance student belonging and representation across multicultural identities and diaspora.
Education Workshops
We offer various workshops and opportunities to engage students in dialogue about intersectionality, belonging, and community building across the inclusive excellence framework.
