Through regular involvement in local community engagement, Williamsburg can be so much more than an address during your four years here: it can be your community. And if you decide to move on from Williamsburg after graduation, you will bring with you the skills it takes to get to know your next home. To be part of the process of community-driven change in Williamsburg, you can:
- Rally a group of friends or your student organizaiton to take on project during one of our four annual service days
- Commit yourself to weekly service through Williamsburg Engagement which brings small service teams to local non-profits
- Address the hunger and nutrition needs of our community through Campus Kitchen and advocacy efforts
- Educate yourself on important social and community issues through our discussion series and dinner dialogues
Don't forget to sign up for our volunteer listserv to get weekly updates on local opportunities, and attend our Community Engagement and Internship Fair held each September to connect with local community partners.
