Description

The mission of Chippokes is to promote conservation of the parks' cultural and natural resources through programming and recreational opportunities. The 1683 acre state park has 37 historic structures including two 19th century manor houses, 35 documented archeological sites, tidal creeks, forested and farm lands as well as modern Visitor Center, campground, pool, cabins, hiking and horse trails.

Need

Volunteers are needed to assist with interpretive mansion tours, canoe trips, fossil walks, educational or environmental programs and maintenance of historic greens.
