Thank you for your interest in presenting at the William & Mary Active Citizens Conference 2018, a space for educating, uniting, and inspiring active citizens. The 2018 conference will be at the William and Mary School of Education on Saturday, February 17, 2018.
This year's conference theme is The Skills of Freedom, and we are inviting workshop proposals through January 24, 2018. Please review the conference website for more information about the theme and success proposals. Proposals submitted by December 8, 2017 will receive priority consideration.
Workshop sessions are 50 minutes long and should encourage active learning among participants.
*What best describes your status?
If you, or a majority of your presentation team, are undergraduate students, please answer the following question as well.
All undergraduate student presenters are required to complete at least one practice presentation of their session with a faculty/staff adviser of their choosing. This provides you the opportunity to practice your presentation skills and receive feedback on your session before the conference. If you are an undergraduate student, please identify the name and email of the faculty/staff member who has agreed to review your session at least once before February 18th.
*Please provide an outline of the session which describes your plans for the workshop (500 word maximum). Strong proposals include a detailed and reasonable use of time, clear content, and integrated active learning techniques.
Please type the following word (no spaces) into the box provided.
