BackgroundRuby began her journey with community engagement at her church soup kitchen, and this passion has continued. She recently graduated in 2021 with B.S. Psychology and a minor in Educational Studies from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Ruby’s excited to continue her educational journey by pursuing her Master’s in School Psychology at William and Mary’s School of Education.
While at St. Mary’s, Ruby served as a Resident Assistant during her undergraduate career and on the Executive Board for the Black Student Union. The Resident Assistant position heavily focused on building a community amongst the student body and helping students become active in their community.
At St. Mary’s Ruby conducted a senior research project that focused on exploring cultural factors that influence help-seeking stigma among Black/African American college students. Ruby’s excited to continue her educational journey by pursing her Masters in School Psychology at William and Mary.
